Upload a protocol
There are currently three ways to upload a protocol onto Nature Protocols. By uploading a protocol we assume authors are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. For more information visit the For Authors information page.
Upload a presubmission enquiry for a Nature Protocols protocol
These are protocols which are commissioned by the Nature Protocols Editorial team. You need to use our Manuscript Tracking System to send us your protocol for review.
Upload a Nature Paper Protocol
These are protocols related to primary research papers in Nature Journals. You will need your Nature paper reference to get started and use the Protocol Submission system.
Upload a community protocol
These are protocols which can be uploaded to the site by any researcher. You can simply get started with the Protocol Submission system.
Supplier Protocols
Companies can now submit their own protocols directly onto the site. Protocols can be uploaded via the Protocols Submission System.
