We welcome commenting on all our protocols.
Why should I comment on protocols?
Commenting allows you to make suggestions as to how to improve existing protocols, or share with others what worked well and what didn’t. It may also lead to the development of new protocols, or at the very least, the refinement of existing protocols.
Can anyone comment on protocols?
Anyone can comment on a protocol however you must be registered with Nature.com, so that you can sign in. By signing in and commenting we assume you agree to our Terms and Conditions. If you do not already have an account, you can register for one at Nature.com.
Where can I find the comments?
In the Protocols Network, comments on protocols are shown below the protocol article. In Nature Protocols, comments are on a separate page and shown beneath the protocol abstract, this page can be accessed via links within the protocol abstract and article pages.
How do I comment on protocols?
Click 'post a comment on this protocol' at the top of the right hand column of the html or abstract page of the protocol you wish to comment on. You will need to login using your Nature.com login, and then type your comment in the input box. It is possible to preview your comments. When you wish to submit your comment, click on the 'post' button.'
How long will it be before my comment appears?
Initially commenting will be premoderated, this means that before your comment is published on the site, it will be reviewed by our staff to ensure that it is not offensive or inflammatory. Our aim is to have all comments published within one working day of the comment being submitted.
